A bride-to-be has reportedly cancelled her wedding just two days before the ceremony after a disturbing conversation with her future mother-in-law.
According to the lady’s account, the woman invited her to a private location known only to both of them on Thursday, ahead of the Saturday wedding.
Upon arrival, she allegedly told the bride-to-be that their family does not believe in one wife and that her son would eventually marry other women.
She referenced family history, claiming the groom’s grandfather and uncles all practised polygamy, with some having multiple wives.
The woman further stated that even having children outside marriage would not be considered cheating, but a “family tradition.”
Shocked by the revelation, the bride-to-be asked if her fiancé was aware, but was told there was no need to inform him as he would “definitely follow the family pattern,” prompting her to cancel the wedding immediately thereafter.
