Renowned Nigerian gospel minister and pastor Nathaniel Bassey has shared a chilling experience involving an alleged traditional spiritualist who, according to him, attempted to place him under a spell.
Bassey said the incident happened on an expressway when the man approached his vehicle and knocked on the window, allegedly chanting words meant to spiritually influence him.
He revealed that this was not the first time he had encountered the same individual.
Instead of reacting in fear, the pastor said he calmly declared Bible verses, affirming divine protection and expressing confidence that the alleged enchantment would fail.
He explained that the man waited briefly, seemingly expecting the spell to take effect, before Bassey stepped out of his car and firmly ordered him to leave.
Reflecting on the incident, the cleric stressed that his testimony was not meant to glorify evil but to highlight his belief in spiritual realities and the power of faith over darkness.
