Businesswoman and Davido’s sister, Sharon Adeleke, has urged celebrities and public figures to stop feeling pressured to wear new outfits for every event, encouraging them to confidently re-wear their clothes.

Speaking in a recent Instagram video, Sharon revealed that she chose to attend an event in an outfit she had worn before despite objections from members of her team, who warned that people had already seen it.

According to her, she refused to allow public opinion to influence her fashion choices and insisted that repeating clothes should be normal.

“Don’t let anybody tell you you can’t repeat your clothes. I will re-rock as many times as I like. I am not going to let anybody put unnecessary pressure on me,” she said.

She also encouraged others to embrace the same mindset, saying they should not be afraid to re-rock their outfits. Her comments come amid increasing conversations about sustainability and the financial pressure associated with celebrity fashion standards in Nigeria.
