Nigerian comedian I Go Save has voiced frustration over the rapid depletion of internet data in Nigeria, criticising service providers for unfair practices. In a video circulating on social media, he highlighted how supposed one-month subscriptions vanish in just a few hours.
The comedian questioned the accountability of providers, saying, “They just talk say I have subscribed for one month, e no even reach how many hours, they thing don finish…Internet providers are defrauding Nigerians badly.”
I Go Save appealed to President Tinubu, urging intervention for the sake of Nigerians struggling to cope with the short-lived subscriptions. He added, “Abroad if they say you have subscribed for one month, one month na one month. Nigeria own dey stay two days.”
