Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) Mike Ozekhome posted photos on Wednesday showing him alongside former president Olusegun Obasanjo.

The images, shared on Ozekhome’s X (formerly Twitter) page, capture the two men standing together. In the photos, Obasanjo is dressed in a blue traditional outfit with a matching cap, while Ozekhome wears cream-coloured native attire.

“Prof Mike Ozekhome, SAN, CON, OFR, cooling off with former president Olusegun Obasanjo, GCFR, PhD, tonight. God is awesome indeed,” the SAN wrote.

The post comes at a time when Ozekhome is facing criminal charges brought by the federal government over an alleged forgery connected to a UK property dispute.

The attorney-general of the federation (AGF) has taken over the prosecution of the case, which involves documents allegedly used in legal proceedings related to the property. Ozekhome has not yet entered a plea in court.

Obasanjo, a former military head of state and two-term civilian president, remains one of Nigeria’s most influential political figures.
