Nollywood actress Regina Daniels has raised eyebrows online after openly identifying with Christianity again while her marriage to billionaire politician Ned Nwoko faces serious trouble.
The actress, who is currently in London, posted a cheerful video of herself dancing to Tim Godfrey’s gospel song “Big God.”
She captioned the clip, “God is my guy shaaa and I’m his special last born… type shiiiit,” a line that immediately sparked conversations across social media.
Her post comes days after she accused her estranged husband of physical assault and intimidation, including allegedly ordering the arrest of her brother to force her back home.
Regina reportedly left the country afterwards and has kept a low profile while staying abroad.
The gospel video has since gone viral, drawing mixed reactions.
While some fans praised her for turning to God for strength during a difficult time, others mocked her, claiming she only remembered her Christian background now that her marriage to a Muslim man has crashed.
