Celebrity businessman and nightlife promoter Cubana Chief Priest has reportedly failed in his attempt to secure the All Progressives Congress (APC) House of Representatives ticket for the Orsu/Orlu/Oru East Federal Constituency in Imo State.

Cubana Chief Priest, whose real name is Pascal Okechukwu, had sought to emerge as the APC candidate for the constituency ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Reports of his defeat quickly triggered reactions across social media, where users expressed mixed opinions over the outcome of the primary election.

While some users mocked the development and argued that the celebrity businessman may have underestimated the realities of Nigerian politics, others questioned the identity of the candidate who defeated him.
