Nigerian actress and filmmaker Funke Akindele has dismissed claims that she snubbed Fuji star Pasuma at a recent social event.
The allegation emerged after a viral video from Faithia Williams’ 55th birthday celebration appeared to show Akindele ignoring the singer.Responding via her X platform, the actress strongly refuted the claims, describing them as misleading and unnecessary.
“Snub? Hell no. Stop the negativity, please. I saw him, greeted him, danced with him,” she wrote, adding that Pasuma is her senior colleague.
Akindele further reposted a video capturing their interaction at the event, questioning why false narratives were being circulated online. She urged social media users to avoid spreading negativity.
The clarification comes amid heightened scrutiny of the actress following previous viral moments, including a recent encounter involving Toyin Abraham that also sparked mixed reactions online.
