Nollywood actress Peggy Ovire has received an outpouring of support from her colleagues amid her ongoing marital crisis, with several stars flooding her social media page with encouraging messages.
The actress shared a photo of herself on Instagram with the caption “Milkshake,” prompting fellow entertainers including Nkechi Blessing, Destiny Etiko, Chizzy Alichi, Uju Okoli, Toyin Lawani, Angela Eguavoen, Empress Njamah and Juliet Ibrahim to express love and admiration for her.
Nkechi Blessing told the actress she was “more than enough,” while others described her as beautiful and special.
The show of solidarity comes weeks after Peggy publicly accused her estranged husband, actor Frederick Leonard, of having an affair with a married woman and delaying their divorce proceedings.
She also alleged that he failed to appear after being served divorce papers and urged him to attend a scheduled customary court hearing. Peggy and Frederick married in November 2022 following a widely celebrated wedding ceremony in Delta State.
