Nigerian celebrity designer Luminee has publicly reaffirmed her love for her husband, Baba Ijesha, following the birth of their baby boy amid widespread backlash surrounding their relationship.
Sharing maternity photographs on Instagram, Luminee expressed overwhelming joy over the arrival of their child and described the actor as “one in millions,” adding that his “heart is pure.”
The celebrity stylist thanked God for the blessing of motherhood and revealed the child’s name as King Kagar Omiyinka.
Her emotional message comes hours after Baba Ijesha announced the birth of their son on social media, stating that God had given him more than he prayed for.
The development has sparked renewed public discussion due to the actor’s controversial past. In 2021, comedienne Princess accused Baba Ijesha of sexually assaulting her 14-year-old ward, a case that generated national attention.
In 2022, he was sentenced to five years imprisonment. The actor regained his freedom in November 2025 after spending more than three years in custody, with actor Yomi Fabiyi later stating that he had been cleared by the Appeal Court.
