President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has praised the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, declaring that he has earned his trust through the timely delivery of critical infrastructure projects across Abuja.
Speaking through Senate President Godswill Akpabio during the commissioning of the 10.5-kilometre access road network to the Renewed Hope Cities and Estates in Karsana West, the President said Wike had transformed abandoned projects into completed infrastructure, demonstrating commitment to the Renewed Hope Agenda.
Tinubu stated that the newly completed roads would improve access to affordable housing, enhance mobility, strengthen security and encourage investment in the Federal Capital Territory.
He also reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to promptly paying contractors who deliver quality projects within agreed timelines while warning against delays and substandard work.
Wike said the once-inaccessible Karsana district had been opened for development through government intervention and assured residents that more road projects would follow.
