“What Happened to Alexx Was Shame, Not Privacy” — Blessing CEO Speaks on Online Stigma

Relationship coach and social media personality Blessing CEO has reacted to online comments surrounding reports of the death of Nollywood actor Alexx Ekubo.

In a video shared online, Blessing CEO criticised social media users for comparing her situation to that of the late actor, accusing Nigerians of mocking vulnerable individuals facing personal struggles.

She alleged that Alexx Ekubo may have stayed away from public attention due to fear of criticism and online ridicule. According to her, people often stigmatise celebrities battling serious health challenges or emotional difficulties.

Blessing CEO also addressed speculations about her own health, insisting that her resilience and “tough skin” helped her withstand public pressure and rumours.

The media personality further warned against using sensitive situations to spread hateful comments, stating that harsh online judgment can force people into silence and isolation.
