Nigerian rapper Illbliss has revealed that he and his wife waited eight years before welcoming their first child, describing the experience as an emotional journey marked by faith, patience and hope.
Speaking during a recent interview, the music star recounted how what appeared to be a routine hospital visit for malaria turned into a life-changing moment when doctors informed them that his wife was pregnant.
According to him, both he and his wife broke down in tears upon hearing the news after years of waiting for a child. Illbliss also shared details about the birth of their second daughter, whom he described as another miracle.
He disclosed that the child was born prematurely during the COVID-19 pandemic and that doctors allegedly advised them to terminate the pregnancy because the baby was not expected to survive.
However, the couple refused, citing their strong Catholic faith and belief that God would intervene.
The rapper said his daughter is now healthy and thriving, a development he considers one of the greatest blessings of his life.
His testimony has since inspired many fans on social media, who have celebrated the family’s story of perseverance, faith and eventual joy.
