President Bola Tinubu on Monday publicly reaffirmed his administration’s resolve to crush terrorism and banditry, declaring that Nigeria would prevail under the stewardship of National Security Adviser Nuhu Ribadu.
Speaking during a visit to Adamawa State, Tinubu used the occasion not only to address security challenges but also to single out Ribadu for high praise, describing him as “honest, bold, courageous, and committed to the job.”
The President expressed personal pride in the NSA, who hails from Adamawa, telling him: “I believe the state of Adamawa is strongly proud of you because I am too.”

Tinubu’s remarks come amid sustained military and intelligence operations targeting bandits and terrorist networks across parts of the country.
He reiterated that the Federal Government remains determined to restore peace and stability nationwide, stressing that the fight against insecurity remains a top priority of his administration.
Projecting confidence in the security architecture under Ribadu’s coordination, the President declared: “With you, we will defeat the bandits and terrorists.”
