Nollywood actress Regina Daniels became emotional as she celebrated the birthdays of her sons, Munir and Khalifa, by sharing gifts with underprivileged children, saying the occasion was especially painful because she was away from them.
In a video posted on Instagram, the actress, accompanied by her mother, Rita Daniels, distributed gifts on the streets before breaking down in tears as people sang for her.
Regina said the June 29 celebration honoured her “most priceless gifts from God” and offered heartfelt prayers for their health, kindness and God’s grace.
She also thanked her mother for her unwavering support and inspiration during the emotional period.
According to the report, the actress is involved in a custody dispute with her former husband, with whom she shares the children.
Regina previously disclosed during a livestream that she had not seen her sons since last year but remained hopeful they would reunite soon.
