Nigerian crossdresser James Brown has spoken out after confronting a man who allegedly attacked his identity during an attempt to resolve an issue involving his team.
In a video shared on his Instagram page, Brown was seen in a heated altercation as members of his crew and bystanders restrained him. Reacting to the incident, he said the man abandoned the original matter and began making remarks about his identity, prompting his response.
Brown argued that many people wrongly assume feminine individuals are easy targets, insisting that appearing soft does not mean a person lacks strength or the ability to defend their dignity.
He said he has endured insults throughout the years but refused to let criticism define him, adding that every attempt to break him only strengthened his resolve. Brown maintained that while people are free to dislike or misunderstand him, respect should never be optional and urged others not to mistake femininity for weakness.
