Pastor William Kumuyi, founder of Deeper Christian Life Ministry, has dismissed speculation surrounding succession plans within the church, declaring that he will not hand over leadership to either of his sons, Jeremiah or John.
Addressing the issue in a video that has gained widespread attention online, Pastor Kumuyi stated that the church is not a personal possession that can be inherited by family members.
He stressed that leadership in the ministry should be determined by divine direction rather than blood ties, citing biblical figures including Peter, Paul and John, who did not pass church leadership to their children.
