Controversial singer Portable has publicly challenged music mogul Don Jazzy, questioning why former artistes of Mavin Records allegedly fail to sustain success after leaving the label.
In a viral video, Portable urged Don Jazzy to “package” him, proposing a potential partnership, while referencing some top names associated with the label.“
Don Jazzy, why is it that everyone who leaves your label don’t reign again? Come and package me and let’s partner,” he said. The Zazu crooner added, “Even Rema is no more reigning. Only Tiwa Savage is reigning.”
The remarks come amid ongoing controversies surrounding former Mavin artiste Crayon, who accused Don Jazzy of owing unpaid royalties and implicated him in personal family matters.
