Godswill Akpabio has expressed confidence that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will secure re-election in 2027, declaring that opposition parties are not matching the mobilisation efforts of the City Boy Movement.
Speaking while receiving a delegation of the group during a courtesy visit to his office, Akpabio described the movement as a growing political force whose influence is already being felt across the country.
He said the organisation would ensure the President has agents in every polling unit during the next general election, arguing that such a structure would help protect votes that might otherwise go uncounted.
The Senate President urged members to remain focused on voter mobilisation, education and grassroots campaigns, while dismissing possible future allegations of electoral malpractice.
He also encouraged young Nigerians to embrace responsible leadership, warning against cultism and drug abuse while stressing the importance of learning from experienced elders.
