The Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, has announced the birth of twin princes with his wife, Olori Mariam Ajibola.
The monarch shared the news in a statement posted on his official Facebook page, expressing gratitude to God for the safe delivery of the babies. He revealed that both the mother and the newborn princes are in good health.
The royal announcement sparked celebrations among members of the House of Oduduwa and well-wishers across the country. In his message, the monarch described the birth as another divine blessing to the royal household.
The Ooni’s marriage to Olori Mariam came after his separation from former queen Naomi. The traditional ruler later married several wives within a short period, explaining that his decisions were connected to the cultural heritage and traditions of Ile-Ife.
