Nollywood actor Williams Uchemba has declined to comment on the marital status and alleged children of late actor Alexx Ekubo, insisting that such sensitive matters should only be addressed by the deceased actor’s immediate family.
Speaking during a recent interview, Uchemba explained that he chose to respect Ekubo’s privacy, especially if the late actor intentionally kept parts of his personal life away from public attention.
According to him, it would be inappropriate for friends or colleagues to disclose information the actor never publicly discussed while alive.
The actor further stressed that any official statement regarding Ekubo’s private affairs should come directly from the family.
Uchemba’s remarks followed growing social media speculation about whether the late Nollywood star had children before his death.
Ekubo’s family recently confirmed that the actor died in Lagos after battling metastatic kidney cancer for some time.
