The directive was conveyed by Vice President Kashim Shettima during a visit to participants of the Senior Executive Course 48 on Friday.

According to Shettima, the President mandated NIPSS management to work with the Armed Forces, the Nigeria Police Force and the Department of State Services to strengthen security around the institution without delay.

He said a comprehensive security action plan covering surveillance systems, personnel deployment, access control and emergency response infrastructure must be submitted within 72 hours.

Shettima also conveyed the Federal Government’s condolences to the families of the slain officers and pledged responsibility for the welfare of their children, while assuring participants and staff that their safety remains a national priority.
