NAF Precision Airstrikes Cripple Terrorist Strongholds in Mandara Mountains

The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has intensified its counter-terrorism operations, destroying key insurgent enclaves in the Mandara Mountains.

In a statement released Tuesday, NAF spokesperson Ehimen Ejodame confirmed that the strikes were carried out following credible intelligence and detailed surveillance missions.

According to him, the operation targeted multiple structures and logistics hubs that had been actively supporting terrorist activities in the region.

He noted that the air component executed coordinated and precise strikes, successfully neutralising hostile elements while adhering strictly to rules of engagement to protect civilians and the environment.

The offensive reportedly dealt a significant blow to the operational capacity of the insurgents, limiting their ability to launch attacks against nearby communities.

Ejodame emphasized that the sustained campaign demonstrates NAF’s commitment to denying terrorists freedom of movement and ensuring national security across vulnerable areas. He added that operations will continue as part of ongoing efforts.
