Afrobeats superstar Davido has revealed that his wedding ring is the most important item he never travels without, saying it symbolises his commitment to his wife and serves as a reminder that he is married.
Speaking during an interview with Mystery Fashionist, the singer said his love for fashion began at a young age and, although he now relies on a stylist due to his busy schedule, he always buys something for his wife whenever he visits a store.
Davido described his wife as the motivation behind many of his shopping decisions. He also listed the five essentials he always carries while travelling as his American passport, Bottega headphones, an 18k Rolex wristwatch, his wedding ring and a Cuban link chain weighing over a kilo, which he said is worth almost one million dollars.
According to him, the wedding ring remains his most treasured possession because it represents the vow he made to his partner.
