“Marriage And Having Children Are Not An Achievement” — Etinosa Idemudia

Actress Etinosa Idemudia has sparked conversations after declaring that marriage and motherhood should not automatically be regarded as life’s greatest achievements, insisting they are personal choices rather than measures of success.

In a post shared on Instagram, the actress said she would advise her daughter not to see getting married or having children as the ultimate milestones in life.

She explained that while both experiences can be fulfilling for those who choose them, they should never be used to determine a person’s worth or level of accomplishment.

According to Etinosa, individuals should be free to define success based on their own goals, aspirations and personal fulfilment instead of societal expectations surrounding marriage and parenthood.

She maintained that achievement means different things to different people and should not be limited to family status.

Her comments have added to ongoing discussions about changing perspectives on success, relationships and individual life choices.
