“Make Hunger No Finish Me and My Family” — Nkechi Blessing Seeks Support for New Akara Business

Nollywood actress Nkechi Blessing has launched an akara and roasted corn business, saying she was inspired by First Lady Remi Tinubu’s advice for Nigerians to embrace small-scale enterprises requiring little startup capital.

Sharing a promotional flyer on social media, the actress announced that her akara sells for ₦100 while roasted corn costs ₦200, urging the public to patronise her business.

In a humorous appeal, she pleaded with Nigerians to support her venture so hunger would not consume her and her family.

Remi Tinubu had recently encouraged struggling citizens to consider businesses such as selling akara, roasted corn and kuli-kuli while addressing beneficiaries of the Renewed Hope Initiative in Abuja, noting that grants, not loans, were provided to help people start businesses.

Nkechi’s announcement comes days after she acquired a Mercedes-Benz GLE53 and amid her continued public reflections on her career, business ventures and personal financial challenges.
