“If He Can’t Bring Them Back, Then He Must Go” — Yung6ix Slams Tinubu Over Oyo Abductions

Nigerian rapper Yung6ix has issued a scathing reaction to the abduction of teachers and students in Oyo State, declaring that President Bola Tinubu must be held accountable for their safe return or step aside.

In a video shared online, the artist argued that the foremost duty of any president is the protection of lives and national security, insisting that leadership goes beyond economic policies, loans and contract allocations.

Yung6ix said Nigerians have the right to question the government’s competence if it fails to rescue abducted citizens and curb rising insecurity across the country.

According to him, the inability to safeguard vulnerable children and teachers reflects a failure of leadership and governance.

He warned that continued inaction could justify public agitation against the administration, stressing that protecting the nation is not optional but the core responsibility of the presidency.

His comments have added to growing public anger over the Oyo abductions, as calls for accountability and decisive security action continue to intensify nationwide.
