Actor Charles Okocha has denied singer Portable’s claim that he bit him during their recent celebrity boxing match in Lagos, insisting the allegation is impossible because he wore a mouthguard throughout the fight.
Reacting in a video shared online, Charles dismissed the accusation while joking that he would rather “chew grass” than bite the controversial singer.
He further stated that he had no intention of doing such, adding that he would not want to “catch rabies” from Portable. Portable had earlier alleged that Charles bit him on the back during the much-publicised bout, a claim he made after walking out of the contest.
Responding to the allegation, Charles questioned how he could have bitten anyone while wearing protective gear in the ring. The latest exchange adds another chapter to the ongoing rivalry between the entertainers following their celebrity boxing contest, which ended with Charles Okocha emerging victorious.
