Controversial singer Portable has vowed to show no mercy to Carter Efe ahead of their celebrity boxing showdown tagged ‘Chaos in the Ring’ on Friday in Lagos.
Speaking during their final face-off, Portable boasted that he would use his opponent to claim his third belt, having previously defeated Charles Okocha and Speed Darlington.”
I’m warning Efe not to risk his life going into the ring with me because I will not show him any mercy,” Portable declared. “He should realize that Charles Okocha and Speed Darlington are bigger than him, yet I showed them my boxing skills.”
But Carter Efe remained unshaken, firing back that the ring would be the final judge. “What I want to tell Portable is that I have beaten many people in the past. In this fight, there won’t be any hiding place for him,” he said.
The bout, organised by Balmoral Promotions at Federal Palace Hotel, headlines nine fights including a WBO Peace bout between Itekiri and Ijaw communities.
