Pastor Enoch Adeboye, General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), has shared a remarkable testimony about handling extravagant gifts during the early years of his ministry.
Speaking at a thanksgiving service, he recalled receiving a Mercedes Benz from an elderly woman while still commuting by bus.
Unsure of what to do, he initially avoided using the car, but a divine dream warned him he was blocking her blessing.
Following the instruction, Pastor Adeboye handed the vehicle to his late deputy, Pastor Abiodun, who suggested he keep it.
Despite this, Adeboye remained firm, later receiving three more Mercedes Benz cars.
One night, a man delivered a six-door limousine, claiming divine instruction.
After praying, Pastor Adeboye sold the luxury vehicle and used the proceeds to purchase motorcycles for his pastors, emphasising his commitment to service and stewardship over personal gain.
