Cubana Chief Priest has revealed why he abandoned support for Peter Obi and aligned with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu ahead of the 2027 elections.
The celebrity barman, whose real name is Pascal Okechukwu, was among public figures who backed Obi during the 2023 presidential race.
However, he recently switched allegiance and now works with the City Boys Movement, a political mobilisation group linked to Seyi Tinubu.
Speaking during an online conversation with streamer Peller, Cubana Chief Priest said he changed camps because he did not want to experience another political defeat.
He also predicted that Tinubu would secure victory again in 2027. His remarks have sparked reactions online, with Nigerians debating celebrity involvement in politics and loyalty shifts ahead of the next election cycle.
