Actor and filmmaker Emmanuel Ikubese has spoken about the collapse of his marriage to celebrity makeup artist Anita Adetoye, describing it as a painful turning point in his life.
The couple, who tied the knot in March 2020 in a widely publicised ceremony, parted ways less than a year later, drawing public attention.
Speaking on the Archives of Becoming Podcast, Ikubese said the breakup left him feeling like a failure, particularly as he had always desired a stable family life.
He noted that the high-profile nature of the wedding made the outcome more difficult to process, intensifying his sense of disappointment.
