A married Nigerian teacher has sparked debate online after sharing her struggle with boundaries involving a supportive male colleague.
The woman, married last year to the man who sponsored her education, was recently posted to a new school where she teaches Geography. Adjusting to the environment, she found comfort in a senior Biology teacher who has worked there for six years.
She explained, “Since I arrived, he has been so nice to me, guiding me, buying gifts, and keeping me company. I feel comfortable and safe with him, even more than my husband.”
Initially small gestures, the gifts have recently become intimate, including underwear, bras, and perfumes. She admitted struggling to reject them due to his kindness, leaving her confused about maintaining proper boundaries as a married woman.
