Veteran Nollywood actor Pete Edochie has paid an emotional tribute to late actor Alexx Ekubo, describing him as someone whose presence left a lasting impact despite their limited interactions.
Reflecting on their relationship, Edochie revealed that he met Alexx only three times but said each meeting remained unforgettable.
He recalled one occasion when the actor arrived at his hotel with Ogene drummers and presented a cow as part of an elaborate invitation to an event.
According to Edochie, he later learnt that Alexx had already begun making major plans for his forthcoming 80th birthday celebration, making the news of his passing even more painful.
The veteran actor also praised IK Ogbonna for showing loyalty and standing out as a dependable friend during difficult moments. Edochie concluded his tribute by saying Alexx lived meaningfully and left a positive mark on many lives.
