Gospel music legend Toun Soetan has passed away at the age of 73, leaving a profound impact on Nigeria’s Christian music community.
The news of her death was confirmed by gospel comedian Woli Agba and musician Peter Olaniyi, who both shared heartfelt tributes on social media.
Woli Agba described her as a “legendary figure who lived a life glorifying Jesus,” adding, “Your transition into Glory to meet The Lord Jesus happened today. Our dear Mummy Toun Soetan… sing with the Angels.”
Peter Olaniyi also mourned her loss, saying, “We just lost another legend this morning. May the Lord be with the family and Daddy Titus Soetan.”
