Reality TV star and entrepreneur Mercy Eke has revealed she would willingly give up fame in exchange for substantial financial security.
Speaking in a recent interview, the former Big Brother Naija winner said she values wealth far above celebrity status, noting that fame without money holds little meaning for her.
She disclosed she would trade her public image and social media influence for as much as two billion dollars.
Eke explained that while she occasionally enjoys the spotlight, she would prefer a quieter lifestyle if her financial future were fully secured.
According to her, such wealth would enable her to live comfortably and provide for her family, including owning a private island.“I would trade my fame for money… give me money and delete me from everywhere,” she said.
Her comments have stirred conversations about the true value of fame in today’s celebrity culture.
