President Bola Tinubu has assured Nigerians that the benefits of his administration’s policies and development programmes will be felt across the country, declaring that his government is focused on delivering practical infrastructure that improves daily life.
Speaking through Senate President Godswill Akpabio at the commissioning of the access road bypassing the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport’s Second Runway in Abuja, Tinubu said the project reflects the Renewed Hope Agenda in action.
He noted that the seven-kilometre road and bridge would reconnect communities affected by the airport expansion, improve transportation, reduce congestion and stimulate economic activities.
The President acknowledged current economic hardships but maintained that difficult reforms were necessary for long-term prosperity.
He praised FCT Minister Nyesom Wike for completing the project within 16 months and commended residents for their cooperation.
Wike, meanwhile, warned land grabbers against taking over community lands and pledged that affected residents would receive Certificates of Occupancy to protect their ownership rights.
