Nollywood actress Ashabi has admitted she was hurt after controversial singer Portable allegedly body-shamed her during their latest public exchange, but insisted his remarks were untrue.
Responding in a video shared online, the actress said anyone mocking her body was only reminding God, before later confessing that the comments pained her even though she chose not to dwell on them.
The latest clash followed Portable’s reaction to a video posted by Ashabi, during which he claimed his wife, who recently gave birth, looked better than her and mocked her appearance.
Ashabi fired back, alleging the singer had sent her only ₦200,000 in the past six months, questioning whether he expected her to suffer despite her efforts.
She also declared she would never return to him. Their relationship has been marked by repeated public disputes, with both parties previously accusing each other of assault, mistreatment and emotional abuse during past confrontations.
