Controversial Nigerian content creator Ademola Abiodun, popularly known as DJ Chicken, has stirred reactions after changing his Instagram profile picture to that of Seyi Tinubu and referring to him as “Daddy” less than 24 hours after regaining his freedom.
The TikTok personality, who was released from the Kirikiri Correctional Centre after meeting his bail conditions, also shared Seyi Tinubu’s photo on his Instagram Stories with the caption, “Hmm ddddy,” alongside videos of him dancing at an event and appearing with his wife.
A day earlier, DJ Chicken publicly thanked Seyi Tinubu, the Nigerian government and President Bola Tinubu while announcing his release.
He had been remanded over charges bordering on alleged cybercrime offences, breach of peace and making alleged threats against Seyi Tinubu following a viral video.
Although he later apologised, describing the remarks as a joke meant to gain attention, the case has been adjourned until August 3, 2026.
