“Are Women Spending Too Much Time Healing?” — Uriel Oputa Reacts to Cardi B, Maduka Okoye Rumours

Former Big Brother Naija housemate Uriel Oputa has sparked conversation online after questioning whether women spend too much time healing after relationships while reacting to rumours linking American rapper Cardi B with Nigerian goalkeeper Maduka Okoye.

The speculation gained attention after the pair were seen enjoying a luxury waterfront dinner in Venice, Italy, following earlier appearances together at the Jean Paul Gaultier Fall/Winter 2026 Haute Couture show, where Okoye was filmed assisting the rapper to her seat before they were later spotted on a hotel balcony.

Responding to the reports, Uriel wondered if healing should always require months or years away from dating, suggesting that moving forward and embracing new love could also be part of the healing process.

Cardi B, who shares three children with rapper Offset, filed for divorce in 2024 and later moved on with NFL player Stefflon Diggs, with whom she welcomed a baby boy in 2025.
