An alleged relative of late Nollywood actor Alex Ekubo, Clinton Ekubo, has publicly raised fresh allegations about the circumstances surrounding the actor’s life, death and burial, accusing his stepmother of excluding the family from key decisions.
In a lengthy Facebook post, Clinton claimed Alex’s stepmother arranged his marriage to her best friend’s daughter without the knowledge of the Ekubo family, leaving relatives shocked when they discovered he was married.
He further alleged that the actor became distant from his biological family, rejected his mother while she was alive and remained closely attached to his stepmother’s family.
Clinton also questioned the secrecy surrounding Alex’s illness, claiming relatives were unaware he was sick until his death was announced publicly.
He demanded an explanation over the circumstances of the actor’s death and burial, alleging the funeral was rushed and raising concerns after reportedly seeing a blood clot in Alex’s eyes.
