Veteran Nollywood actor Richard Mofe Damijo, popularly known as RMD, has marked his 65th birthday with a reflective message on ageing, saying one of its greatest privileges is becoming comfortable in one’s own skin.
Sharing photos on Instagram, the celebrated actor described his milestone as 65 years of purpose, presence and grace, expressing gratitude for the opportunities, lessons and relationships that have shaped his life.
RMD said he had lived long enough to understand that life owes no one anything, yet credited God’s grace for giving him everything that truly matters, including the courage to begin, the strength to endure and the wisdom to evolve.
His birthday attracted warm tributes from several colleagues, including Bambam, Stan Nze, Ruth Kadiri, Iyabo Ojo, Mo Abudu, Mercy Johnson, Waje and Warri Pikin, who celebrated his enduring impact on Nollywood and wished him many more years of fulfilment and grace.
