The Federal Ministry of Education has launched an application portal for the nationwide recruitment of Technical Facilitators for Federal Technical Colleges as part of efforts to strengthen Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) in Nigeria.

The initiative is designed to attract experienced industry professionals who can deliver competency-based training that blends classroom teaching with practical, hands-on skills development.

According to the ministry, the programme aligns with the Federal Government’s broader strategy to revitalise technical education and produce a skilled workforce capable of meeting industry demands and competing in the global economy.

Successful applicants will support teaching and practical training across Federal Technical Colleges nationwide, bringing industry experience into the classroom to improve the quality and relevance of technical education.

Eligibility

The recruitment targets professionals with verifiable industry experience and relevant technical qualifications. Applicants are also expected to possess professional certifications where applicable, as well as the ability to translate practical industry knowledge into effective classroom instruction.

Application Process

Interested candidates are required to submit their applications through the official TVET recruitment portal at tvet.education.gov.ng or via https://tinyurl.com/tvet-facilitators-register
.

Applicants must create an account on the portal, select their preferred programme or skill area, upload all required credentials, and review their details before final submission.

Required Documents

Applicants are expected to provide accurate personal information and upload clear copies of the following documents:

Valid email address and phone number

Educational certificates

Professional licences where applicable

Curriculum vitae highlighting industry experience

Relevant technical or professional certifications

All documents must be submitted in the format specified on the portal.

Selection Process

The ministry said the recruitment exercise will follow a transparent and merit-based process. Applications will be screened and verified, after which qualified candidates will be shortlisted for further evaluation.

The final stage may include interviews or practical assessments to determine candidates’ competence and suitability for the role.

Deadline

The application portal will close at 11:59 p.m. on Monday, March 16, 2026.

Prospective applicants have been advised to complete their registration ahead of the deadline, as late submissions will not be accepted.
