“6:30am JAMB Fear” — Candidate Cuts Tinted Hair to Avoid Disqualification

A 2026 candidate of the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has gone viral after revealing she removed her tinted hair ahead of her examination.

The candidate, identified as @wbraider on TikTok, shared a video explaining that her decision was influenced by strict exam guidelines.

According to her, candidates are not permitted to appear with tinted hair, prompting her to loosen and alter her hairstyle to avoid being denied entry.

She disclosed that her exam was scheduled for 6:30 a.m. on the first day, adding that she did not want to risk any complications or plead for access at the venue.

In the clip, she described JAMB as unpredictable and advised fellow candidates to comply fully with regulations.

The video has since sparked reactions online, with many students expressing similar concerns as the nationwide examination runs from April 16 to April 25, 2026.
