The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has confirmed that the Original Result Slip for the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) will be available for printing from Wednesday.
The announcement was made in Abuja by JAMB’s Public Communication Adviser, Dr Fabian Benjamin, who stated that the document contains important security features designed to enhance its authenticity and acceptance for official purposes.
According to him, the original result slip includes candidates’ photographs, national rankings and other details required for admission processes.
JAMB explained that the document remains one of the key requirements for post-UTME screening and admission consideration by tertiary institutions across the country.
The examination body advised candidates to print their slips using any internet-enabled device or through accredited business centres.
Benjamin further urged candidates to carefully verify all information contained on the document immediately after printing to ensure accuracy.
He also advised candidates to keep copies of the original result slip safe, noting that it will be needed for future admission-related procedures and verification purposes.
