A young Nigerian woman, Onuoha Juliet, has announced her intention to contest the 2027 presidential election, positioning herself against incumbent president Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Juliet said she will run under the platform of the Youth Party, describing her ambition as a youth-driven movement focused on economic reform, inclusion and national renewal.
She said her campaign aims to move Nigeria “from potential to prosperity” by placing innovation, integrity and youth participation at the centre of governance.
In a detailed message to Nigerians, she highlighted priorities such as job creation, improved security, women empowerment, small business support, stable electricity and agricultural investment.
Juliet pledged transparent governance, anti-corruption reforms and policies to strengthen local production.
Calling 2027 a “reset year”, she urged Nigerians, especially young people, to unite behind a new leadership vision.
