Actor Adeniyi Johnson has raised an alarm over an ongoing impersonation scam involving his identity. The Nollywood star disclosed via Instagram that an individual based in the United Kingdom has been posing as him online, contacting people and making false business proposals.
He shared screenshots of conversations with the impersonator, stressing that he has no connection with the person.Johnson clarified that the phone number being used does not belong to him and warned that he does not currently work with any manager or personal assistant for business dealings.
He urged fans, colleagues, and the public to disregard any messages or offers linked to the scammer.
The actor further called on people to report and block the number to prevent damage to his reputation. He emphasized that the fraudulent activity could mislead unsuspecting individuals and harm his public image if not stopped quickly by fans and authorities online.
